Quality, Affordable In-Home Care In Your Community
I have been working with Griswold Home Care since 2002. My family is originally from Connecticut and moved to Northwest Atlanta in 1985. After school I attended Surgical Technology training and worked as a surgical technologist for an orthopedic surgeon for six years. During this period, my step-father was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It was at this time that my family and I became acquainted with home care. We had promised to let Jack stay at home. My mother, Pam Redmond, is a nurse, and had to continue to work, and manage caring for Jack at the same time. Even with having resources available to research and help with this, it was still a difficult task. We did manage to find a wonderful caregiver who helped us care for Jack at home until he passed away at home in 1994. When mom retired in the year 2000, she became very interested in starting a company to assist families in finding affordable, high-quality care. At this time, we had also begun the search for home care for my aging grandparents. She began researching several different companies and was immediately very impressed with Griswold Home Care. Mom felt very in tune with Jean Griswold’s mission of providing the highest quality caregivers at the most affordable rates. She opened the Atlanta Northwest office of Griswold Home Care in 2001. I began working with her the following year. I have the greatest respect for the dedicated caregivers we work with, and truly feel it is a wonderful service to be able to provide to other families.
