Quality, Affordable In-Home Care In Your Community
Meet Dennis and Kelly Lipford, owners and operators of your local Birmingham Griswold Home Care office. Dennis and Kelly live in Birmingham with their son and two daughters, ages 15, 13, and 11. Dennis and Kelly were drawn to the home care industry because it offered them an opportunity to immerse themselves in their community and meet a lot of interesting people with many stories to share.
Kelly graduated from the University of Alabama. She then spent eight years as an auditor with a public accounting firm before “retiring” to raise the kids. She remained active by volunteering countless hours to civic and church activities including PTO and youth football boards, and an assortment of church activities. She continues to lead a bible study group at their church.
Dennis graduated from Auburn University and has a varied background. He served 4 years in the U.S. Army after high school, began his professional career in public accounting, and spent 10 years at United Healthcare of Alabama with his last position being VP of Medicare Programs. He then was a founder in a start-up telephone company for the next 10 years. He left the corporate world last year to pursue a rewarding family business with his wife. He has coached many youth sports including football, baseball, soccer and lacrosse and finds it a great way to spend quality time with his kids.
Dennis and Kelly both have aging parents and recognize the importance of having quality home care services available for seniors. They hope to use their energies to help seniors to maintain the dignity, independence, safety, and peace of mind that they deserve as they age. They understand that people have a choice in home care providers and they intend to do their utmost to earn your trust.
Griswold Home Care has over thirty years of experience in providing in-home care for the elderly as well as the physically and mentally challenged. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for those who wish to continue living independently. We understand that it is a big decision to let someone into the privacy of your home to care for you or your loved one.
We make a promise to all of our clients that “we only refer caregivers we would trust in our own homes,” which is the Griswold Golden Rule. Our company was founded on the principle that home care should be affordable and simple while maintaining the highest quality.
