Quality In-Home Care In Your Community

HCA#0000150

Hi, I’m Lesley Mills director of 5 Griswold Home Care offices in Connecticut. My staff and I have served Connecticut families like yours for over 25 years and you have my full commitment to provide exceptional caregivers that can assist you with all manner of non-medical home care including personal care, homemaking and companionship.

The various sections of this website reveal our character, awards, and broader commitment to local towns and a holistic approach to aging for baby boomers and their parents through home care.

I loved my Mum, who passed in 2013. Thanks to Bella, her live-in caregiver, I was able to show that more. We sang and held hands despite the Alzheimer’s, just as I cared for Granddad. I didn’t fret about her before I slept and the moment I woke because Mum was being reminded to take her medications on time, supplies were on hand, meals were regular, and the house was clean. Bella was a doting companion who gave me back my life. These experiences, and shared altruism, drew me to founders Dr. Jean and Rev. Lincoln Griswold.

I’m a Yale Associate Fellow, and past 10-year CBS radio host on elder care matters. I own five Connecticut Griswold Home Care offices, lecture widely throughout the community and I’m very active in seniors’ rights matters.

We’re your home care problem solvers — add us to your family’s team. Your home care manager will guide you through the confusing world of in-home care. Your caregivers will serve with integrity, compassion, and competence. We even advocate for your benefits from insurers and agencies. Behind the scenes we protect you with insurance and bonding. As star problem solver for over 17 years, home care business manager Lorna Lamoureux has led all five offices.

Our most precious gifts are family letters and recognition, but I’m honored that our team also has many home care awards. Atty. Gen. Richard Blumenthal successfully nominated us as the SBA Business of the Year, for creative elder care and community work, and May 16 was declared Jean Griswold Day by the legislature for our fierce advocacy of home care and senior care issues. We have also received awards from the Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Associations, Former Governor Rell, Business New Haven, New Haven Chamber of Commerce, CT Women Owned Businesses; New Haven Rotary.
