Quality, Affordable In-Home Care In Your Community
Hello, I am Anne Seglem, independent owner and operator of your local Griswold Home Care office of Colorado Springs and Douglas County. I am a Registered Nurse and Certified Senior Advisor. My husband and I have been lifelong volunteers in our community. I am a member of the Tri-Lakes Health Advocacy Partnership Board of Directors as well as the Colorado Springs Senior Resource Council, which is an organization focused on issues affecting seniors and elders through the Pikes Peak region.
I joined the Griswold Home Care franchise family because I saw it as an opportunity to further help seniors in my community. As a nurse working in a hospital, I saw the urgent need for non-medical senior care. My experiences led me to understand that joining the Griswold Home Care family would allow me to help even more people in my community.
Griswold Home Care has been a leader in the home-care industry for over 30 years. I am proud to join the tradition by referring caregivers who offer affordable, high quality home-care to our Coloradan neighbors.
“Anne’s team is caring, attentive, knowledgeable, and consistently go beyond what you would expect someone to do or provide. Even though my mom is now in assisted living, Anne continues to stop by and see how she is doing. I cannot recommend her or her agency highly enough.”
“I was looking for a professional service to help me with my mother in her home care. I went to caring.com and that’s where I initially came across Griswold. I considered two other agencies but it seems that they would promise you everything but they just wanted the money. I didn’t feel the same way with Griswold. I felt like they generally were interested in helping me and listening all my concerns about my mother.
I like the way that they screened the caregivers they provided. There’s stability in the care that my mother was receiving. They were thoughtful about my concerns and what might be my mother’s concerns. They also made a practice of coming out to see how the caregivers were doing which I thought is good. It shows that they are professional and they’re interested in keeping a standard for their business.
They also came to see my mother when she was in a hospital. When she eventually get into long term care, they came and drop by and brought her a little treat. They’re nice and quality people. I would use them again.”
