The Griswold Home Care Office for Lake County and Geauga County is staffed by highly competent home care referral professionals.
Director Brian Rice is a Certified Senior Advisor and has been a board member for the Lake County Council on Aging (LCCOA) since 2012. He also chairs the Community Resource & Advocacy Committee for the Association of Specialists in Aging (ASA) which planned Lake County’s first annual World Elder Abuse Awareness Day on 6/15/15. Since 2011 Brian has facilitated an Alzheimer’s Association family support group. On 4/15/15 he joined 350 other Alzheimer’s Association advocates who traveled to the state capital to ask state lawmakers to increase funding for Alzheimer’s family support services and education.
Molly Doeing (Case Coordinator) has been an LPN since 2004 and previously worked in both skilled nursing facilities and in-home care settings. Her extensive experience in caring for older adults in multiple settings makes her uniquely qualified to refer only the highest quality professional caregivers. Together, Brian and Molly have become the premier senior care referral team in the area.
The Lake/Geauga office of Griswold Home Care is the only home care office in all of Northeast Ohio to receive an Independent Living Award from the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging for all of Greater Cleveland.
From founder Dr. Jean Griswold, Brian and his wife Cheryl learned firsthand the many critical screening steps that are necessary before referring a caregiver to assist some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
Dr. Griswold believed every caregiver should possess certain attributes: compassion, patience, honesty, reliability and experience. Brian and Molly look for those attributes in each caregiver they refer. Griswold Home Care’s rich heritage of referring only the best caregivers, perfected over a 33-year history, will soon provide the peace of mind your family deserves.
