Montgomery North Chevy Chase In Home Care | MD Senior and Elder Care

Your Home Care Referral Team in Montgomery-North/Chevy Chase, Maryland

My name is Vincent Santiago and nothing provides me with more personal satisfaction than referring caregivers to help adult clients to live happier and healthier lives in the comfort of their own homes.

I think you can tell a lot about a person from the people they admire, so let me tell you about my role models. As a young boy, the two men who most inspired me were my father – a man who personifies the classic American success story – and my uncle, a physician who worked hard through all 104 years of his life.   My father started out as a laborer and eventually went to college – in fact, my father ended up going to the same college as me at the same time! He went on to become an attorney and, later, a judge.  I became a chemical analyst for PPG Industries in Puerto Rico and, after earning an MBA, I advanced to become a PPG marketing manager, traveling throughout Latin America for PPG and, later, the Chevron Corporation.

Eventually, I became the owner of my own industrial supplies business, but I had never fulfilled the desire I had as a young boy to become a doctor, like my uncle. When I learned about Griswold and the company’s time-tested approach to caring for others, it seemed like the perfect fit.   As a Griswold Director, I could combine my years of business experience and acumen with my desire to refer caregivers to enrich the lives of others.

Even when people can no longer live at home, we can refer selectively screened caregivers who can make sure that people receive the care and attention that they deserve –wherever they are. To me, it’s not just a business, but a calling. Right now, I feel like I’m doing what I was born to do.

In-home senior care – whether live-in or hourly – is our specialty, but we also refer caregivers to help clients with activities of daily living during illness and recovery.

In-home care services may include personal care, homemaking, companionship or help with things like laundry, errands, and transportation/accompaniment – the kinds of things a caring family member would do to assist a loved one or senior parent.
