The Indianapolis and North Suburban area has many cultural enhancing activities to offer support for seniors and adults with disabilities. The list of activities and events goes on and on. The items include sporting events, Colts Games, Pacer Games, Indians Games or racing such as NASCAR, IRL, or Lucas Raceway.
Maybe your tastes lend themselves to the arts such as museums or the arts district in Camel or Symphony on the Prairie or the Palladium. How about concerts at Verizon or Clowes Hall? We can refer caregivers who are there to help people remain living in their home through home care services, but that doesn’t mean you have to stay at home! We can refer caregivers who are happy to provide transportation/accompaniment and assistance to these and any other events.
For those who would rather stay at home or are unable to go out, we can refer caregivers who are happy to co-ordinate activities at home such as movie nights, trivia, bingo or just watching favorite TV shows. Gardening, Scrapbooking or maybe just going down memory lane organizing some old photos, VCR tapes or DVD’s are other options.
