Your Home Care Team in Northern Vermont

Hello, I’m David Rosen, RN and Executive Director of Griswold Home Care of Northern Vermont. My wife Terri and I became passionate about the home care business when my own grandmother needed care. Watching her journey for over 20 years with in-home care inspired us, and we are honored to now help others age in place. Six years later, Terri and I have three Griswold Home Care offices and love what we do!

Birdseye viewAs an RN for over 22 years, my background has been in geriatric and psychiatric nursing care, with experience working in both facilities and home settings.  I also served as the Primary Care Director of a private addiction recovery center in Vermont.  Terri’s background is in business management and customer service. Terri has a heart to heart approach with families and is passionate about the Griswold Home Care CarePairing System to match just the right caregiver to each client.

Our Burlington area office has proudly served Northern Vermont for over 15 years.  Our Senior Care Manager, Sue Richardson, has been in the home care field for almost a decade, is a ninth generation Vermonter, and is devoted to helping seniors remain independent at home. Senior Care Coordinator/Community Liaison, Lauren Chase, has an extensive background in customer service. Her own experience as a family caregiver for her grandmother instilled a passion for helping seniors remain at home. Sue and Lauren work closely with every client to ensure that your senior care needs are met with the utmost in compassion, professionalism and extraordinary customer care.

Our caregiver screening process is one of the most rigorous in the industry, following the Griswold Golden Rule, which is that we only hire caregivers who we would trust in our own homes! That’s one of the reasons why a large percentage of our clients are personally referred to our office.

Our caregivers can provide a few hours a week of simple companionship to help give a family caregiver some respite, to activities like meal preparation, housekeeping, running errands, and bathing and dressing assistance, right up to live-in care or 24-hour care for a hospice client. This level of service is the backbone of our office culture, and we would be honored to walk you through your home care journey.

We are blessed to be part of the Griswold Home Care family, and we look forward to serving your family.
