Mary Ann has been an RN for 20 years . With a background in healthcare, Mary Ann has had many experiences with one-on-one care. She also helped to care for her Grandmother when her health was declining. Mary Ann saw firsthand the toll it can take on families when trying to meet loved ones’ needs 24/7. Brian and Mary Ann have also been witness to the decline of his mother due to dementia. She was their first inspiration for entering home care; with her husband still able to partake in outside activities, she was spending quite a bit of time at home alone.
Brian received his degree in Engineering in 1991. He has been involved in the battery industry for the past 20+ years. He has experience serving data centers, telecommunications, and utilities markets. He has managed several manufacturing plants, including a large number of employees, customers, and vendors. Brian’s current role is Director of Field Service, providing after-market support, customer service, and technical support. Brian was voted most outstanding employer of the year by the National Guard for his continued support to families, retaining positions, and following up on the needs of employees during time of deployment. He works hard to fulfill customers’ needs and make sure they are satisfied.
Brian and Mary Ann, of Griswold Home Care in Overland Park and Olathe, were very impressed with Griswold Home Care’s focus in referring caregivers to help others, the company’s beginnings and the compassion toward referring caregivers to help people maintain their goal to stay at home.
