My name is Wade Luders and I’m proud to help bring Griswold Home Care to San Jose and the South Bay. I’m a California native and have spent the past 20 years in the Bay Area meeting the love of my life, raising a family, and caring for aging parents. A graduate of Santa Clara University, I followed a dream and became a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. After a rewarding career with the FBI, I got started in home care to help others in the community.
Growing up working in my father’s restaurant, I observed first-hand the concepts that led to success: truly outstanding customer service and a keen attention to the real needs of people. Those are ideas that I share with everyone at Griswold Home Care – a hardworking company that is dedicated to serving the non-medical home care and senior care industry by focusing on people.
What makes someone a great caregiver? Is it just knowledge and skill? What about bedside manner? Or being a safe driver, or a good cook? Like you, I know that home care is all about people and that everyone is unique. That’s why I spend so much time getting to know my clients and their families, as well as the caregivers that I refer who can help make their lives easier.
It’s been a long time since I waited tables in the family business, but the fundamentals that made such an impact on me then, continue to hold true today: people appreciate being treated as individuals, with their own needs, goals and ambitions. I promise to treat each client I serve with dedication, commitment, and the individualized attention that I would give to a member of my own family.
