Now that COVID-19 vaccines are arriving in communities across the country, Griswold Home Care would like to state its position on employees getting vaccinated. First, we want to express our sympathy and condolences to all who have been personally affected by this devastating virus. We are hurting with you and for the many more who will suffer before COVID-19 is no longer a threat. This moment in time is difficult, and our best and most effective hope is the vaccine.
Griswold Home Care franchises are independently owned and operated, and as such, local policies may vary.* While vaccinations will not be mandatory for Griswold Home Care employees due to personal or religious beliefs, we strongly encourage everyone to voluntarily get vaccinated. We support the science behind vaccines and believe that the more people who get vaccinated, the faster the virus will be eradicated.
Our CEO, Michael Slupecki, and members of the leadership team will be vaccinated at the earliest opportunity. We urge our employees and their families, as well as our clients and their families, to join us in getting vaccinated as soon as they have access. Should Griswold Home Care find itself in a position to support the proliferation of vaccinations within our communities, we will do so. If we can help alleviate fears or dispel inaccuracies regarding the vaccine, we will do so. Together we can beat this virus, but we all must do our part to put COVID-19 behind us, and that means being vaccinated without delay.
*Griswold Home Care franchises are independently owned and operated; therefore, various policies regarding vaccination will be implemented at the local level in accordance with the franchise owner’s direction. Policies will also be influenced by Federal and State laws. Thank you.
