[Infographic] Living with Glaucoma Action Plan and Toolkit

Optician consulting elderly patient

Glaucoma is a group of conditions that damage the eye’s optic nerve and cause progressive vision loss. Recent research has shown that many people diagnosed with Glaucoma have great fear and feelings of uncertainty related to their prognosis, risk of blindness, and the chance that the condition can be passed on to other family members. The good news is that most forms of Glaucoma can be effectively treated and managed if diagnosed early enough. Research has also indicated that many people with Glaucoma are confused about what type of healthcare provider/s they should see for a diagnosis and treatment and how/if they need to adjust their daily living routine. The educational Infographic below provides an interactive Action Plan and Toolkit that can help you to better understand glaucoma and start to fight back! We hope that the valuable information, tools and resources provided here will help you to manage glaucoma and enjoy life.
