Our wonderful office has been serving the southwest Florida community since 2010. We refer thoroughly screened caregivers who provide personal care, light housekeeping, companionship, and other services to clients wishing to remain independent at home. The screening includes a 17-point process including background checks, experience checks, and training and license verifications. Many of the caregivers we refer have been on our roster since the beginning; they are like family to us.
Our team’s philosophy is based on our founder Jean Griswold’s vision of providing the best non-medical home care referral services at an affordable rate. We continue to stand by that mission and have coupled it with offering tremendous customer service.
Carrie Neville – Regional Manager
Carrie has managed a couple of different careers in her life, all centered around family and health care delivery. She received her Bachelor of Science degree and long-term care practicum in Nursing Home Administration from the University of Wisconsin and managed nursing homes in Florida for several years in SE Florida. This experience gave Carrie a working knowledge of not only how health care should be delivered every day, but how you hire, train, and nurture the best people to ensure your clients receive care delivered with dignity and excellence.
Motherhood came next for Carrie, and as her husband’s career necessitated several moves. She happily chose the role of a full-time mom for three sons. As the boys attended college she moved back to Florida with her husband and was the Regional Manager for Griswold Home Care in Bonita Springs. In that role, she became grounded in the Griswold philosophy of care and the ‘Golden Rule’ of referring only caregivers you would trust in your own home. Carrie moved to Nashville with her husband and continued with a couple of health care operations roles before moving back to SW Florida earlier this year. She is thrilled to return to Griswold Home Care again as Manager for the SW Florida region. Today she resides in Naples with her husband. With a commitment to helping those she serves; she leads by example while doing so with compassion and empathy.
“Working with such an amazing team at Griswold Home Care is more than just a job to me, it’s a calling to make a difference for our families we care for every day.”
Caitlyn Bonesteel – Hiring Manager
Caring for others has always come as second nature to Caitlyn. As a junior in high school, she took care of her older sister after she had to undergo a splenectomy and was mostly bed-bound for a year.
After graduation, Caitlyn transformed her passion for helping others into a career with the U.S. Army. Unfortunately, while she was serving, she suffered an injury and was forced to come home. After she came back to Florida, she started a family.
Once her daughter was born, Caitlyn found an opportunity to utilize her passion for helping others with Griswold Home Care. As hiring manager, she is able to make a real difference in our community, which drives her to work hard every day. Her devotion to her clients and this profession shines through in the quality of work she puts forth.
“The saying ‘love your neighbor’ is a way of life I hold close to my heart. I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to make a positive and meaningful difference in my community with Griswold Home Care. When connecting with a client, I am sure to treat them with the same empathy and respect I would want someone to treat my loved one with. The selfless work of the amazing caregivers we refer inspires me every day. Being able to assist in providing peace of mind to clients and their loved ones has been incredibly fulfilling.”
Stephanie Nash – Case Manager
Stephanie’s passion for caregiving began in 2009 when she started working at CVS Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Tech. Stephanie realized how much she gained by helping others, whether it was simply by listening to their stories or finding a way to make them smile. She made it her priority to leave those that she came in contact with in a better state-of-mind after each encounter.
Stephanie decided to pursue college, where she obtained her associate’s degree in Business Administration, which helps her with her Case Manager responsibilities.
As a Case Manager at Griswold Home Care, it is Stephanie’s mission is to build personal relationships with her clients. She strives to improve lives and to create a happy, professional, and nurturing experience for her clients and their families.
Stephanie is a proud Florida native and mother of an eleven-year-old boy. Her hobbies include family time, enjoying the outdoors, cooking, and baking.
“You truly learn what life is about when you lose yourself in helping others.”
Tia Preece – Case Manager
Tia Preece is a Case Manager at Griswold Home Care. Since starting with Griswold in 2020, Tia opens the line of communication between clients and referrals to bridge the gap to find your right fit.
As Tia works to complete her Master’s Degree in Mass Communications, she has been able to cultivate relationships with both caregivers and clients to help find the perfect caregiver for your loved ones. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga and has a keen interest in gardening where she has been struggling to figure out the Florida soil since moving from Canada.
“No matter what is going on at the office for the day, I feel as though kindness and a positive outlook can transform someone’s dark moment into a positive one and that’s the approach I take here with my clients as Griswold Home Care. I want them to know we really do care because it’s always so much more fulfilling doing things for others than just yourself.”
