Training Programs

We Provide Our Home Care Franchisees with Everything They Need

In order to ensure the best care for our clients – and success for our franchise owners – we need to fully prepare them to succeed from the very first day. That’s why at Griswold Home Care, we offer our new franchisees extensive training programs and unrivaled ongoing support. Our success is dependent on your success. We are in this together and will be there to support you every step of the way.

Initial Management Training

Our management training is broken down into initial training and ongoing training. Our initial management training at our Home Care Academy includes world-class, comprehensive training on everything you need to start your new business. This includes tried-and-true processes for all revenue-generating points of both the client and caregiver journey, including:

  • Recruitment
  • Retention
  • Lead generation
  • Conversion

This training is uniquely designed to get your office generating revenue as quickly as possible and minimize the “days to dollars”. It lasts 12 weeks, is adult-learner focused, and consists of a blend of in-person and virtual classrooms, field experience, and self-guided learning.

Our initial training will be tailored specifically to each new franchise owner.

Ongoing Management Training

Our ongoing training is through our Griswold University and includes regular system-wide webinars led by subject matter experts on various, timely topics needed to run and grow your business. For new staff, we offer regular in-person or virtual training that is role-specific.

At our annual National Conference, we offer the opportunity to learn from home care industry experts, thought leaders, and your franchise peers on topics critical to your business. We also provide access to a nation-wide forum to exchange ideas, opportunities, and success stories with other Griswold Home Care franchisees. One-on-one training support is also available if needed.

Ongoing Support

Our ongoing support includes everything from localized marketing materials, which can be edited if needed, to in-house graphic designers. There are a lot of moving parts to your new business, and we make sure not only that every base is covered, but that everyone is fully prepared to handle all the responsibilities that come with entrepreneurship.

If needed, we offer grand opening support, which is when an operations manager assists new franchise owners for the first week upon opening.
