The Jean Griswold Foundation will be donating 40 percent of their 2019 donations to Meals on Wheels America to help support their programs and tools that provide older adults with nutrition and improves health outcomes. “Since the Foundation’s establishment, our mission has always been to help seniors lead happy, healthy lives in the place they love most – their homes,” said Penny Kardon, executive director of the Jean Griswold Foundation. “We are honored to partner with Meals on Wheels America to address this growing issue and empower more Americans to maintain their independence and age in place.”
“During the 21st annual Direct Care Workers Conference held April 17, 2018, at United Way Community Resource Center, caregivers who’d been nominated by families of their clients were recognized for exceptional service. Griswold Home Care Houston had two caregivers earn special recognition.”
Griswold Home Care of Southeast Houston and Griswold Home Care of Southwest Houston made a joint donation of “6,000 meals” to the Houston Food Bank on Oct. 18, assisting the food bank with its mission to help victims of Hurricane Harvey and beyond.
Griswold Home Care Houston participated in the annual Elder Service Providers Network (ESPN) Expo put on by the United Way of Houston.
