Staying engaged with the community helps seniors thrive and the State of Delaware has a variety of cultural, educational and historical activities for elders. From Claymont to Middletown, our caregivers can provide non-medical assistance in any New Castle County community the senior lives.
For those individuals who no longer drive, a caregiver can accompany our senior citizens on trips, classes, visits to senior centers and many other places of interest. Adults living with disabilities and our elder Delawareans can benefit from stimulation and social contact. One of our clients had a caregiver take her bowling every week with her friends from the local senior center.
Another caregiver took her client to a nursery to buy plants and then helped put the plants in her garden. Families see the benefit of staying engaged and our elderly loved ones are happier and live longer with this stimulation.
