Our mission at Griswold Home Care of Northern Rochester, NY is to refer caregivers who can service our seniors with dignity and respect by keeping them independent, happy, and healthy, resulting in peace of mind for their loving families. We understand the difficulty when considering a caregiver that is not family and therefore consider it a privilege to gain your trust. To that end, our office will meet with you for a free in-home visit to discuss your specific needs before referring a caregiver to you.
Our goal is to help our clients remain safe and independent in their homes by referring caregivers with attributes that meet or exceed our client’s necessities while ensuring value to our clients. In addition to frequent client phone calls, we conduct client visits on a quarterly basis to ensure that you are happy with your referred caregiver.
Our clients range from seniors or disabled adults living at home or to those residing in an assisted living facility. The caregivers we refer often have experience in caring for clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia, neuromuscular conditions, post-surgery and rehabilitation, fall risk and respite care. Furthermore, these caregivers are often trained in a wide range of other disabilities or assisted living needs. The caregivers we refer can provide non-medical in-home care to your loved ones for anywhere from 1 to 2 hours per day, up to 24/7 live-in care.

*Griswold Home Care does not set caregiver rates. You will negotiate those rates with your caregiver after you engage him or her. As general information, however, market studies conducted in our community reveal the average rate that caregivers typically charge. Our office fee would be added to your caregiver rate to determine the total cost of care to you.
