Home Care Resources in Alexandria, VA
Engagement in physical and mental activities is what keeps us all young at heart. Here in at Griswold Home Care of NoVA East, we have the privilege of being right next door to our nation’s capital where there are an abundant number of happenings to keep you active and smiling.
Serving as a community resource for our home care clients, Griswold Home Care will refer caregivers who work to help you or your loved ones stay involved in their community, whether it is revisiting history at the Smithsonian, meeting other seniors or adults with disabilities in a craft class at the community center, visiting the farmer’s market or sightseeing the monuments in D.C.
In addition to taking advantage of the richness of the Northern Virginia community, our certified senior care professionals can accompany their clients to daily activities such as attending church, getting their hair done, shopping, or meeting friends for lunch.
Or for those that feel more comfortable at home, caregivers help engage with board games (Scrabble is a favorite of many!), crossword puzzles, gardening, making photo albums, telling stories and visiting memories of the past. Thank you for allowing referred caregivers to serve as a tour guide to you or your loved ones.
