Griswold Home Care Orlando Expresses Thanks to Those on the Frontline of the Pandemic

As we all know and have felt, 2020 has been a rough year, taking a toll on us physically and mentally. But even with the hardship, there are still things to be thankful for. This Thanksgiving 2020, Griswold Home Care of Greater Orlando would like to thank the many wonderful people who have been combating the COVID-19 pandemic. Our gratitude goes out to all of them.

The first group of workers we want to thank are health care personnel. We express our best gratitude for your strenuous and brave work in combating, researching, and treating the novel Coronavirus. Risking their own health, nurses, doctors, and other health officials have been productive since day one, caring for the sick and providing the utmost attention to the virus. We at Griswold Home Care Orlando thank you all so much for your courage. This important and life-saving work has not gone unnoticed.

The second group of workers we would like to show our appreciation to are restaurant, grocery, and retail employees. We thank you for being on the front lines of the pandemic, providing Florida and locally, Orlando, with food and supplies during the time of quarantine and reopening while paying careful attention to cleanliness and health protocols to minimize the spread. We understand that it was difficult to work long and exhausting hours delivering, stocking, transacting, and cooking.

Finally, we want to keep our caregivers and patients in mind this Thanksgiving. Thank you to our wonderful and dedicated caregivers who have felt the brunt of the year and persevered through, continuing to respect and assist the elderly. We also express our gratitude to our beloved patients. We recognize that they may be experiencing fear and anxiety over being a population vulnerable to the virus, which is why we take precautions to keep them safe and show we care. From Griswold Home Care Orlando, thank you from the bottom of our hearts to our patients and caregivers.

Gratefulness, even in a year like this one, is always a virtue. Griswold hopes to encourage thankfulness in everything we do. If you have an elderly loved one who may need assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us. Call 407-638-8116 for more information!
