Community Caregiver Resources in Scottsdale, AZ
Community Involvement from Griswold Home Care Franchise
Since launching Griswold Home Care of Scottsdale, Scott and Allison Savel have worked diligently to become valuable resources to the senior community. We are 20-year residents of Scottsdale and most of our family lives here in Scottsdale, as well. We are very excited by the opportunity to give back to the community and help Scottsdale-area seniors stay safely and comfortably at home with the help of our experienced, compassionate caregivers.
Griswold Home Care of Scottsdale is also proud to be a founding member of the North Valley Coalition on Aging. This committee is dedicated to providing valuable educational and practical resources for seniors and their families. Meetings are held monthly, allowing the public and senior-industry professionals to meet and discuss topics of interest in the elder care industry. Speakers include many notable professionals who generously share valuable information on a wide range of issues that affect seniors and senior care. Ask us about upcoming meetings and educational events.
Griswold Home Care of Scottsdale is also excited to introduce Mosaic Care Resources. Mosaic Care Resources is a one stop resource for busy discharge planners, social workers, nurses and families. Mosaic Care Resources is a fully integrated care resource for aging adults and adults with extra needs. Complementing our hourly and live-in care services, we now offer Care Management, Senior Living Options and Resources and Education. We offer full relocation assistance if you choose to move to a senior community and we even have an experienced Realtor who will discount your commission if you have an existing house to sell. Feel free to call us anytime with any of your concerns or questions and we will help you get the best possible caregiver resources for all of your needs.
We are also actively involved with the Jean Griswold Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) private foundation established in 2010, which provides grants to select community programs that help people age in place. In 2019, we presented a $500 grant to Glencroft Center for Modern Aging to help provide its services to low-income seniors who can’t afford them on their own. Glencroft offers a wide variety of services through its independent living, assisted living, and long-term care programs, including housekeeping, food services, health and medication management, and planned social activities.
