Cathy Howard and her mother, Frances Malafronte opened the Fairfield County, CT office of Griswold Home Care in March, 1991. Since then, we have expanded to include local offices in Danbury – Bethel, Norwalk, and Stratford. Our home care referral team has been delivering quality home care referrals to seniors in Fairfield County for over 25 years. The Stratford local Griswold Home Care office has collaborated with many skilled agencies and hospice agencies, referring non-medical caregivers in order to provide a comprehensive approach to home care.

Pam DePiano, Stratford Office Manager began her career with Griswold Home Care in 1998 as a bi-lingual Case Manager. Pam has dedicated most of her working life to helping seniors remain independent at home through quality home care services. Pam has personal experience using home care, and understands the importance of a qualified caregiver helping seniors who need help living independently at home. Charlene Vinson began her career at Griswold Home Care as an independent contractor caregiver. She later stopped working as a caregiver and was hired by the home office as a case manager in 2009 due to her passion to help others. Jessica Howard, who graduated from Eastern Ct. State University in May 2012, has been with Griswold for over 4 years. Jessica’s passion and drive to help seniors age in place has been an asset to the Stratford office.

Cathy Howard started this business in 1991, and her offices serve all of Fairfield County. Cathy not only manages cases in her flagship office in Stratford, but she is Chairman of the Board of the Jean Griswold Foundation and also sits on the board of the Stratford Visiting Nurses Association. A hospice volunteer for many years, Cathy’s business is not just a job, but her passion. In 2014, Cathy was honored with the International Franchise Association (IFA) Franchisee of the Year Award. Cathy was recognized during the IFA’s 14th Annual Public Affairs Conference in Washington D.C. for her outstanding performance and contributions she has made to enhance the growth and development of franchising.
