In addition to home care, caregivers referred by Griswold Home Care can also provide transportation/accompaniment and assistance to the many outside activities and social events in our Southern Cuyahoga and Summit County area. We have several local senior centers that offer activities such as games, entertainment, exercise and craft classes, and even meals. Our Metroparks system is one of the best in the nation, and includes everything from concert shells and chalets to beautiful, scenic views. Our community has much to offer seniors and disabled adults, and we want the clients we care for to be able to take advantage of as many as they can. We can refer caregivers who encourage our clients to stay as active and involved as possible, such as in church groups, senior organizations or attending any of the many entertainment venues they may care to in surrounding areas. We can refer caregivers who are more than happy to transport/accompany clients to any event or activity they enjoy.

If a client is not able to go out, caregivers referred by Griswold are also happy to engage in at-home activities with them, such as cards and games, hobbies or just watching TV together. Whether homebound or still active, our clients’ interests and happiness are always the primary concern of the caregivers we refer.
