Are you confused about all the options when it comes to Medicare? With all the different parts, it is not as simple as your A, B, Cs. But finding help can be.

The October program of ACAP Cape Fear (Adult Children of Aging Parents) will help you learn more about Medicare as well as SHIIP programs that may benefit your aging parents. Come with your questions and leave as a more informed advocate for your parents’ health and medical care and service coverage.

Medicare and SHIIP: The Must Knows will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday, October 11th, presented by Fred Concepcion, Medicare SHIIP Specialist, and Pam Wall, Prescription Drug Assistance Program.

All programs are held from 6 to 7:30 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at the First Baptist Church Activities Center at 1939 Independence Boulevard in Wilmington, NC. A streaming option is available for those unable to attend in person.

You can learn more or join the ACAP email list to receive updates about ACAP Cape Fear at the ACAP Cape Fear web site. ACAP Cape Fear exists to educate, connect and support adult children. While the programs are developed for adult children, everyone is welcome.

If you are interested in attending our October 11th event in person, please register by emailing capefear@acapcommunity.org.. Registering is not required but helpful for us to plan seating and refreshments. We hope to see you there!
